For Steamboat Park Campground: Outstanding Park! Would recommend to family and friends. Love this park for five reasons. 1) Absolutely beautiful park with views of the river; 2) Spacious sites and Sites are spacious giving you enough room to really enjoy your time. Park is very quiet.3) FHU on level gravel site with concrete porch pad with river view. Option for river front. Rates are very inexpensive when considering. 4) Lots of areas to explore and dog friendly; 5) finally - great fishing. Caught large and small bass right from the campground.

For Steamboat Park Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Steamboat Park. Getting to the campground was no problem. The roads in the campground are gravel and in good condition. The trees are trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store. There is a large parking area near the office. No escort to site but was given a map. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 68, a pull thru site with a gravel drive and cement patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the river. Our site was level. The site was dry. The campground has a few seasonal folks. Most all of the seasonal campers are in good condition. The bathhouse and laundry room were nice. The pool is nice. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds look nice. No cable tv. Over air antenna worked OK. No Wifi. Here is the bad. No Wifi & no cable. I would come back. Many of the sites along the river are nice, but they are in full sun and their patio side faces the afternoon sun. A few further down the end have trees. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Steamboat Park Campground: This is one of the best we have stayed at. Second time here. Spacious, clean great pool, on the river. The dog loves it. Don't miss this one.

For Steamboat Park Campground: We spent our first two day trip here and had a blast, the camp host was friendly and helpful when we couldn’t find our site, the sites were good sized with a “trex type picnic table and fire ring. The Steamboat trip with live music and bar was such a great time, we’ll definitely be back.

For Steamboat Park Campground: This is the second season this lovely park is open. Situated along the banks of the Grand River just outside Grand Rapids it is quiet and peaceful. We were in a back in site only feet away from the river. The sites are very generously spaced and are angled and staggered so that each site along the river has a very wide view of the river which has no building along its banks so is very "natural". All sites have full hookup. Sites not right on the river are pull through and also have river view but less so. Most of the park has little shade although the far end of the park has lovely, mature trees and lots of shade. A large paddle "steamboat" makes frequent trips up and down the river adding to the ambiance. Our grandchildren visited frequently and rode their bikes freely, played in the playground and swam in the pool. We have already made reservations for next year.

For Steamboat Park Campground: Streamboat Park is a nice new campsite. Sites are level and roomy with picnic tables and fire rings. Sites are big with back in sites along the river and pull-through sites that can fit any size RV. Pool is centrally located and is heated. There is a shower house next to the pool. WI-FI is only available at the pool. Very clean with both open and tree lined sites.
