For KOA Journey Monument Valley: We stayed here for two nights while visiting Monument Valley. It is a newer KOA and they are still getting things set up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The sites are all gravel and level. We have a 41’ fifth wheel and had no issues navigating through the park so am not sure why one of the previous reviews indicated there was no room. The view here is stunning and it’s extremely convenient to the Monument Valley Tribal Park. We would stay here again if traveling through the area.

For KOA Journey Monument Valley: This is a new KOA still in development. It is serviceable for an overnight stay. We stopped overnight due to rain & temperatures in the 50’s so we would have water, electric & a warm shower. We pull a 17 foot trailer & usually stay in a back-in site. Theirs are not deep enough so we were in a pull-through that was more expensive. There is not enough gravel so there was a lot of wet red sand everywhere. There is no host or management visible. There are 4 bathrooms that are combined toilet & shower for 56 sites. Someone had put the bowl cleaner unit in the toilet & left it. There are no lids to close the toilet! The soap is watery liquid & doesn’t foam as unit is designed for so it’s messy. Wi-fi is poor as well as Verizon signal. It was $49 with our KOA value card.

Darren the Barbarian

For KOA Journey Monument Valley: This is a brand new KOA. It was built only for profit. Sites are way too small. Big rigs beware. Tight corners. No extra parking. It is a dirt lot. Four bathroom/shower stalls. There is a huge line up in the mornings. If you need a place to stop its ok, but there are better options. Almost 50 bucks a night. Very poor tenting options.
