For Old House at Benton Hot Springs: Dry camping with personal hot tubs at sites. The sites are fairly well spaced, with a few privacy screens, but there really isn’t any privacy. Fortunately, music is banned and generator hours are limited, so it is quiet and peaceful, which is what campers come here seeking. Self check-in with no interaction with owners or staff. No cell service, but there is internet. One potty trailer. Unfortunately , due to a recent fire, significant areas are burned out, leaving ugly sections reeking of ash. No dump or water fill. Nearest EV charging is in Bishop. Very good for a night or two to enjoy soaking in clean odor free hot spring water. Electric connections would raise this campground to four stars. Dump and water fill would approach five stars.

For Old House at Benton Hot Springs: Came here in late March, 2019. Camp sites are on a dirt road that requires access for bigger rigs from the south. We checked in at the hotel area and then turned around and went back up. Many of the sites can fit rigs, of various sizes, check with staff as to what your rig can fit into. They have wifi at the hotel, but it did not work in our site. We were fine with having no cell service for a few days. Best part is you get a private tub with your camp site. This is dry camping, but with the hot tub you are getting a nice hot soak. Water temps were wonderful, as were the views and the blue skies. I would give it five stars, except there are portable toilets for the camping area, and no cell service. This is a place to come and react and not have any electronic devices. Not much to do around this area, it is about 35 miles north and east of Bishop. If we ever come through this area, we will definitely come back for some relaxation! Bring your food, water and supplies, unless you want to drive to Bishop. Lovely place.
