For Castle Lake Campground & Cottages: Place more trailer park than campground - 80percent plus long term/seasonals and accompanying clutter Short time sites are treed and nice sized. Not very many of them. Looks like decent pool and playground- young kids driving around in their motorized little cars. Fun place for them. Beach area really non existent. Place is loud at night as well in late August. If you like the party atmosphere this is the right place for you. Here only a couple nites, would not come back.

For Castle Lake Campground & Cottages: Beautiful big campsites buried in trees. Option to be on the lake. But pricey.
