For Gillespie County Fairgrounds: Good option for Fredericksburg. You have your choice of sites with utilities for $25 or dry camping in a fairgrounds parking lot for $10. You can get water from an empty site and there’s a place to dump. Very close to downtown. You can pay Joel in site 18 when you get there.

For Gillespie County Fairgrounds: There are 20 spaces aligned in a row. 1-6 have FHU, 7-20 have E&W. The airport is across the street. Everything worked fine.

For Gillespie County Fairgrounds: Water and electric. No restrooms. More monthly locals than tourist. Everyone friendly. Open field behind facing fairgrounds. Watch weather and clouds roll in $25 a night pay at fairgrounds. Beats $40 or $50 if you re self contained.
