For Katy Lake RV Resort: Fantastic place. Gated community. Concrete slab for parking. Nice pool, hot tub and great coffee in the morning in the clubhouse. Everything we could ask for in an RV resort. Staff was great, facilities were great, and the stocked lake was fantastic. Now my son is spoiled catching 10 fish in two days. 2 hours total fishing! We'll be back every year

Phoenix 
For Katy Lake RV Resort: The pluses - The sites are all concrete. The lake, hot tub and pool are very nice. Great clubhouse, laundry machines, free coffee and sometimes donuts. 1/2 mile concrete walk around the lake. Gated.
The minuses - They have 1 dog park/run area, and it's in the front. If you are in the back of the park, or the far sides, it may be out of the way for you.
No shade, as most stripped out concrete parks, there are no trees.
Internet - upon arrival was informed, and given a letter, that you are limited to 10gigs a month. Additionally, if you are streaming Netflix, online gaming, etc... you can be blocked, according to the person who checked us in.
Prices - cost for propane is too high. You are better off finding a station outside the park. The cost per month are a little high but comparable to other parks close by.
I give it 4 stars.

For Katy Lake RV Resort: This is my go to spot when I visit Houston. It's out of the major traffic, close to the outlet mall, canping world, bass pro and tons of other stuff! Cathy and her team are phenomenal and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and at home! The sites are all concrete, level and the lighted hook ups are well placed. There is a nice stocked lake, a pool table in the clubhouse, a heated pool and jacuzzi, and a business center. Free wifi and cable. The laundry room has plenty of machines and is always clean. There is also a dog park with a wash bay which comes in super handy! Also you are allowed to wash your RV here as long as you have a low water hand held attatchment which is awesome! Also it's gated and set way back from the road so I always feel safe. There are some long term folks here but everyone is super nice and considerate. Also there is always coffee in the clubhouse! I don't use the shower house much but the showers are huge! Overall I've stayed at 4 different places in Houston so far but I always choose KLRV now and somehow I always end up extending my stay!!
