For Grand Staircase Escalante NM - Horse Canyon: We were looking for a boondocking site in the general area. We stayed on a weeknight in early June in our 25 foot MH.
We stayed at a cluster of sites approximately 10 miles from Boulder on the north side of the road just west of the Gulch trailhead. We were alone. This site has great views. We had weak yet usable Verizon coverage. There are many distributed campsites along the paved Burr Trail Road. We passed on a few that had sandy access roads.
