Lavenderlime 
For KCL Campground Carrizo Plains NM: This is a small, fairly level campground about 1/4 mile from the main road. It has several old trees providing shade, along with bird colonies and some owls that visit each night. Facilities are clean and fairly new. There is a hill to the rear (west) of the campground, so sweeping views are to the east and south. It has great morning light. There is not a lot of space or privacy between sites. Between the two campgrounds in Carrizo Plain, this is the most heavily-used.
