For Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch: What a beautiful RV resort. My wife and I have been traveling the country full-time for the last 7 years, and we always try to stay in the nicest RV resorts we can find. . . . and they don't come any nicer than the Ruidoso MotorCoach Ranch.
The resort is located on top of a mountain ridge, so the views are spectacular from every site. The roads are all asphalt, the RV pads and patio pads are all concrete, and each site has a nice built in propane fire pit. There’s a big patio at the clubhouse with firepits and fireplaces, plus indoor and outside kitchen setups for the frequent resort events held there. Truly a first-class Resort. And frankly, I was really surprised how low their rates are, compared to comparable RV resorts.
Ruidoso is a beautiful little town - one of those without the hustle-bustle of big cities - friendly people, and great little shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful part of the country with lots to see and do.
Finally, I have to comment on how nice the owners are - Jimmy and Lisa. It's obvious how proud they are of their Resort and how much they enjoy the RVing community.
Note: In June of 2024, there were forest fires in the general area, that scared some people away from the area in the second half of '24. Well, I can attest from our 2 weeks at Ruidoso MotorCoach Ranch in Oct. ‘24, that the fire and flooding had absolutely no effect on us or our enjoyment of the area. In fact, as I said, the Resort is located on the top of a mountain ridge with sweeping views in all directions, and we couldn’t see any evidence of the fire or flooding from there.

For Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch: I wholly concur with the 5 star ratings. Check in was easy and were escorted to the site. The owner (forgot his first name) was very helpful and explained how to use gas firepit. The site itself was beautiful with a great view of the pines and mountains. Our dog loved it and went for long walks with my wife through the pine path around the resort. This is the kind of RV resort that dseserves its 5 star rating. 29 pull-in concrete, level spaces and lots of room. The iron rocking chairs by the firepit were a real plus. Didn't use facilities.
Very good wifi and cable tv.

For Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch: This place is beautiful with only 29 sites on 40+ acres. Jim and Lisa are excellent owner/operators. The grounds are immaculate and the views amazing. All sites have rocking chairs and fire pits. If you want a first class park that is peaceful, quiet, private and full of wildlife, this is your place. There are no bad sites. Listed as class A only but did see a few super C’s as well. Highly recommended.

For Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch: Great park! Jim and Lisa are excellent host. The park is new, with fully paved sites and excellent views. We were late getting in and Jim stayed to greet us on arrival. It is motorhome only. Completely recommended

For Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch: Absolutely delightful and peaceful! Fully paved road, level concrete pads for large rigs, patio with steel rockers and a propane fire pit. Each site has a beautiful view! The office/clubhouse has had an art exhibit, wine tasting and a live musician since we have been here. They also have numerous hummingbird feeders which attracts many hummers! Jimmy and Lisa, and there staff John and Wally are very friendly and incredibly helpful.
