For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Outstanding Park! Highly recommend to anyone. Level concrete pads that are FHU. Lots of space between sites. Lots of places to walk your dog or just enjoy a stroll around the campground. Very close to Frankfurt and a very enjoyable short trip to the Sleepy Bear Dunes National Park. Overall, great rates, great location and great RV site.

For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Mostly seasonals. OK for a few nights passing through. Large, concrete and paver brick patio sites. But not a resort. Electricity problems in overnight sites. 50 amp breaker tripped once with normal usage. Had to downgrade to 30 amp on one site with normal usage due to continuous 50 amp breaker trips. Staff adequate but too quick to blame electricity problems on rigs instead of bad infrastructure. Very sandy sites with clumps of grass and lots of ants. Park seems to be stuck in transition with adding new sites and grass. Equipment scattered about especially around pavilion. But no active related upgrade work occurring. Website and brochure out of date. Only daily and seasonal rates. Daily rate too high even for location which is good. Frankfort is good little town with amenities. Very nice Lake Michigan beach and Betsie Valley Trail for biking/walking. Stayed for 2 weeks in July in 40’ motorhome and 40’ destination trailer.

For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Newer park , well laid out, facilities very clean. Visited summer 2018, would stay again, short drive to Frankfort,beaches and shopping.

For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Newer park. No mature trees but laid out well. They advertise cable tv but it’s not available. They say they’re installing it but no ready yet. That’s why the 2 star rating. They lied about the cable.

For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Agree with all Doug wrote - newer park, but clean and nicely laid out. Friendly, helpful staff. Pads are plenty long and level. Showers/restrooms were very clean and nice. Excellent laundry area although a folding table would be nice. Only negative was noisy neighbors; not sure this is campground’s fault, although I did not see quiet hours posted.

For Frankfort Crystal Lake RV Resort: Newer park, still expanding. Full hookups with concrete slabs, brick patios, and fire pits. Trees are young so no shade. Clean newer shower house and laundry. Very quiet. Couple of miles from Frankfort. Helpful staff. Would go back again.
