For Koosharem Reservoir: We stayed here in a class A coach. It was one of the nicest places we have dry-camped. The view across the reservoir of ranches and snow-capped mountains is hard to beat. The gravel lot is too rocky for tent camping but fairly level. While it is true that the road is close, and fairly busy, it was not a problem for us. It was too windy for a fire but there are rock circles for campfires. Verizon signal was very good and it is very close to Capitol Reef National Park.

For Koosharem Reservoir: Fabulous find! Aside from road nearby, this was a surprisingly wonderful spot. We parked right next to water, made a fire, watched sunset and had the entire place to ourselves. Kids had a great area to bike and fish. One of our favor places in our trip
