For Sauk River Park: New bathroom facilities under construction, so no showers available till completion. Rate has gone up to $30. We would have stopped if there were bathrooms, but will drive on. Pretty little campground. Waterfall over the damage a short walk away.

For Sauk River Park: Be advised: park is closed in late June 2022 due to a construction project outside the entrance. Looks like it may be closed all summer. Cute town and would like to try staying here again someday.

For Sauk River Park: Entrance to park easy to find about two blocks off Main Street. Entrance and campsite access is gravel and adjacent a city baseball field. Good water plumbing and electricity at the sites with those amenities. Dump is in middle of park easy to access and in good condition. Men’s Bathroom has zero toilet stool privacy. Some Sites are shaded depending on time of day. Sites along the River bank are grassy but you will want to have something to level your RV with unless your not fussy about being level. Dusty conditions with the traffic on the gravel. $20 a little much considering but there’s trash cans at each site along the River. I’m visiting friends otherwise it’s a one nighter.

For Sauk River Park: We had 1 night here for $20 - there were four level gravel spots with power and water, easy for our 31' Class A. Several smaller grassy sites backing up to a river, good for Class C or B's, and a few others where 5th wheels or tt's could fit laterally. Every site has a picnic table. Not all sites had power/water, but there was a dump and fill station. This campground is part of a "city" park - but with a population of less than 4,000, it feels like a small town. The park itself is large, with walking trails, baseball fields, playgrounds, a bike shed, disc golf, etc. It was reasonably quiet on a Monday night when we were here. Not sure if it would be as quiet if we were not still in the Covid era.

For Sauk River Park: Fine for an overnight. $10 for no utilities, $20 for water/electric. Some sites back up against the river. Others along the baseball field. Water and electric were fine at the site. Rest room building is not acceptable. No problem for us. Easy walk to town. There is a pizza place and a deli as well as little shops. Plenty of over the air channels. Dish Network came in fine. There is a dump available.
