For Wabash and Erie Canal Park Campground: My husband planned a mystery stop and what a delightful surprise. The park was so clean and friendly and the surrounding sightseeing was fabulous. Who knew that Erie Canal extended into this area. Great hiking trails and a beautiful historic downtown.

For Wabash and Erie Canal Park Campground: Great little campground right next to a great park. They have activities on the weekend along with cannel boat rides. They also have ten miles of bike/ hiking trails with a lot being right next to the cannel. Not very many sites but that makes it quite at night.

For Wabash and Erie Canal Park Campground: Beautiful, well-maintained park. Much was closed due to COVID, so I won’t rate based on the activities they offer. Campground is a little odd because there’s no separation from the rest of the park, so random people are always driving by/walking next to your site and staring at you. Cars would be constantly driving slowly around the camping area and then leaving. Kind of unnerving. Very empty and quiet, though. It would be nice if they put up posts on the trail so cars couldn’t drive on it and people would need to use the designated parking lots. Or a “campers vehicles only beyond this point†sign. It would add a little more privacy to the campground.

For Wabash and Erie Canal Park Campground: This is a lovely park of historical significance. Campground is peaceful with mostly grassy sites. FHU sites have gravel pads. Six sites have 30/50 amp electric. Half the tent/pop-up sites have 20 amp.
Be sure to visit the award-winning museum (open 1-4 daily.) On weekends during the summer, ride the canal boat on the last navigable section of the Wabash & Erie Canal. There are miles of walking/cycling trails. Downtown Delphi has several nice restaurants, art galleries, restored working Opera House, shopping... all within walking distance.
