For Honeys Park: If you simply need an electric hook up and a place to stop for a sleep, I would recommend this private place. It is owned by a friendly veteran named Scar who hopes that anyone in your vehicle will be respectful to step out to greet him when entering. There are several friendly dogs. He obviously loves dogs as you will see by the creative artwork he has done. He even has Internet. Despite having an obvious political affiliation, he did not in anyway discuss it or ask about ours. I would encourage anyone to stay there as long as you realize you are in the high desert, and it is a dusty field

For Honeys Park: You will either like this place or not. We did. If you look at the man's website you can pretty much figure out which it will be before you get there or you can just show up with an open mind. We'd love to hang out there again.

For Honeys Park: Read his site, makes it easier to know what to do to follow the rules. Also earns you extra nights. www.honeyspark.weebly.com. He will appreciate it. Say hi on arrival. Be nice. Drive slow and don't poison the dog with careless food or garbage. Great place to hang a while. Nice dude.

For Honeys Park: Was not sure what to expect, but after reading the reviews and taking a look at his website we decided to give it a try while visiting the area. Scar was not there but a note on his door advising he would be gone for a few days was welcoming nonetheless. We did a U-turn with our 40' 5th wheel in the back field and plugged into a 30A spot with a nice view to the south. It had been raining and there were some puddles on the driveway in, but the ground was firm and no issues. Dump station and water is at Jack's Travel Plaza on HWY 93 around the corner. Met some other travelers that were also enjoying the non-conventional camp spot. Left a donation in the box as we were leaving to cover the power, etc. Stayed here in Sep '19 and would stay again.

For Honeys Park: Place was a lot better than I was expecting for free. 15a 30a and 50a spots, wifi, beer fridge and an awesome host for the cost of reciprocating friendship. Seems to high for some people and that's a sad statement of humanity.
Road is ok, field is decent for a field just don't speed. Speeding will anger the host since you might run over his best friend/dog.
I'll come again. This guy's got a golden heart and soul and is lonely. If your a single woman van dweller give him a shot. Awesome dude.
