For Pinery Canyon Road: Campground is 5.5 miles from the junction of Chiricahua Nat Monument. Dispersed camping. We have a 24 foot trailer but you can go a bit larger to maybe 27feet? I would NOT go further than 5.5 miles as a stream crosses the road and it gets steep. Washboard road only comprises about 1.5 miles of the drive. We had a great camping spot next to the stream.

OnTime 
For Pinery Canyon Road: The campsites are spacious and private and very beautiful, but the road in was so washboard that five miles took an hour and a half, and shook the LED bulbs out of the fixtures.
