For Hot Well Dunes: Beautiful soaking tubs. Clean park. I gave it a one because when I got there, I was told by two other campers that it used to be a huge party place all of the time, but now not as often unfortunately Easter weekend and all of the ATVs have a huge party there. first night people hadn’t arrived so it was fine. I thought I could deal with it but no way!they’ve got six-year-olds running around on ATVs all over the place dust everywhere, people shooting off fireworks and target practice for BB guns drove my dog crazy.I left after dark and had to drive back the 20 miles in the dark. there are designated camping spots but people pull in wherever they want,Helter skelter with their huge trailers behind there, RVs. The camp host has a very nice site, but wasn’t anywhere to be found.

For Hot Well Dunes: 1/2019 45 ft Class A with tow. $3/night 14 day max. Great gem of a park. No services. Parked on hard sand with 4 shelters near 2 hot tubs. Around 10-15 sites scattered around park. Would not use the road (part dirt, part poorly paved with pot holes) if rain within 24 hours. Road is 25 miles off highway and allow an hour to hour and a half to traverse road. At times, 12 mph was max speed due to road conditions. 2 hot tubs are sweet. Cell service spotty and needed cell booster to have any chance of signal. Satellite but no on-air channels. Would return.

For Hot Well Dunes: Dry camping for cheap and you get a resort class pair of outdoor natural hot springs spas, each can easily hold 6 people. The camping is on dirt/sand but there are four shelters at camp sites near th spas. Otherwise it's dispersed camping. Quiet on weekdays but four wheelers and cheap noisy generators on the weekends. The spas are fed with a solar powered pump and drain at night. This is 20+ miles off of US70 and fairly narrow but paved. It's a long ways from town so buy your groceries before arriving. No water or dump that I saw. There are roomy clean pit toilets tho. Roomy enough to change into your swim suit!
