Sparky

For Piute State Park: Nice area for a stop. Weekends seem to pick up with activities but multiple off grid spots to choose from right along the water. At times bugs can be bad I'm sure because of the water. There's a kiosk as you enter and they request $8 per night. The envelope to put your money in says "max of two nights". Only services here are vault toilets.

Randi

For Piute State Park: For primitive sites, it’s nice to be by the lake, just 1/2 mile off 89, go right at the kiosk for a few sites in a big parking area with 3 tables and a vault toilet, go a little to the right down a dirt road, another toilet, and you can make your own site. Back at the kiosk, go left to the boat ramp and day area, plus there’s one campsite there that’s nice. Cost $8/night self pay so bring cash or check. We were set up but a big RV came and ran his generator so we moved further away.
