For Twin Valley - Governor Dodge State Park: Huge, stunningly gorgeous and idyllic. The loudest sounds you hear are birdsong and the occasional kids having fun. There's an extensive trail system and two reservoir lakes. Sites are all electric only, 30 and 20 amp. There's potable water available at the dump station to fill your fresh water tank. It's also convenient to House on the Rock, Taliesin (Frank Lloyd Wright's house), the Wisconsin River and the surprisingly lively hamlet of Spring Green. We absolutely loved our stay and would very happily stay again.

For Twin Valley - Governor Dodge State Park: Site #279E. Tight for 40 ft motor coach. Leaning tree at entrance has scars from prior unfortunates. To level required backing full depth, too close to fire pit for my tastes. Early season, so nice and quiet.

For Twin Valley - Governor Dodge State Park: Wonderful park in Southern Wisconsin. We stayed at twin Valley Campground. The spaces were very private with plenty of room between the campsites. We had several enjoyable hikes including lost Canyon. Thought the price was reasonable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We would return.

For Twin Valley - Governor Dodge State Park: Sticker shock! With all of the extra fees for out-of-state, it ended up being $44 a night for crummy 30-amp electric (not adequate for AC in the 85% humidity) and no water. C'mon Wisconsin, the least you could do is put the extra $11/night "vehicle sticker" charge up front so we know we are going to be charged a ridiculous price for such inadequate facilities. Nice people, but what a outrageous price for so little. The reservation says $28/night not $44. A little honesty would be nice.
Private sites in the trees, but not level. Cruddy electric.
