For Campground 2 - David Crockett State Park: Beautiful, clean, well-maintained state park! Level, paved camping pads; wide sites with water & electricity; clean restrooms; family friendly showers; well marked hiking trails. Can’t say enough good things about this campground. Currently, campsite check-in is 3:00.

Don
For Campground 2 - David Crockett State Park: We have always stayed in Campground 2 (can't comment on campground 1) and find it to be fantastic. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. The sites have all been redone and are level and paved. Some have railings and a large drop off behind the camper, so make sure you get a site that you will fit in or know which sites don't have the rails. This is a beautiful place with well spaced sites and plenty of nature. There is a pool in the park and is usually open seasonally. I wish it had sewer, but it is still one of my favorites.

For Campground 2 - David Crockett State Park: We stayed in CG2 Site 59. Elec & Water, close (but not too close) to bathhouse. Sites are level & wide. Look to be new and spaced out well. Bathhouse was very clean and showers are one each in four rooms. We do not recommend the restaurant buffet as it was average food and overpriced. We do recommend the David Crockett museum (open in summer and some Saturdays). We live 1 1/2 hours away and this will likely become our "home" campground.

JAS
For Campground 2 - David Crockett State Park: I stayed in Campground 2 (can’t speak for C1). This newly renovated park is stunning. I had an electric and water hook up. Very level sites that are blacktopped. I paid something like $36 for C2 and I guess C1 is cheaper....but for a few dollars more....it was well worth it for me. Ya gotta try this place. This place would be stunning in the fall. IMO. Great staff too!
