For Stockade North - Custer State Park: Nice Park close to the city of Custer. The spots are relatively spread out. Bathrooms are okay. Nice place to stay would stay again.

For Stockade North - Custer State Park: Beautiful wooded park. Sites are gravel, spread out over hilly terrain. So quiet at night you could hear a pin drop. Convenient to Custer, bike path starts about 1/8 mike away that takes you to Custer. Water and electric sites, showers are clean but not very hot. We would stay here again, $30 per nite

For Stockade North - Custer State Park: What a wonderful, well run campground we found at Stockade North!! Got in late, without a reservation, and the great camp hosts gave us a spot, helped us get set and even provided some firewood!! THANKS AGAIN!! This beautiful Custer State Park campground has super clean restrooms, free hot showers and large lovely sites. Our kids are all grown up, but we kept thinking how much they would have loved this campground and the park in general. Only teeny drawback is there’s no dump site at this campground- there is one in the Park - but the electric hookup more than made up for it!! We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this campground!!

For Stockade North - Custer State Park: Had a wonderful time here! Beautiful level site with electric hookup. Our site was very heavily wooded and the next group of tent campers were half an acre away. Had a nice fire pit and picnic table. We were able to gather needed supplies right down the street at the Legion Lake store. Even though we were in an RV we cooked on the campfire and stayed outside until all the fire burned out. After 2 weeks of overpopulated parks, this did something for our souls! If you truly love the woods you will like this! Campground host came around only once and was very helpful when I asked about our following days plans. And the bison are everywhere in Custer State Park!
