For Little Sandy - Lake Thunderbird State Park: We were here on a Thursday night in mid-May. Lovely surroundings. Good facilities. This is a big reservoir park and would certainly attract large crowds in the summer. However, being a lake and so close to a city, it attracts young people wanting to cruise around and rev up their engines a little more than some other parks I suspect. 2 bars or better AT&T and some TV antenna reception from OKC/Norman. If we were to return, we would look at one of the smaller campgrounds on the opposite side of the lake.
