For Cove - Clayton Lake State Park: No camp host, no cell service, no park rangers, no dump station, no dark skies, a very rough road to the park, and no security or any way to contact anyone. Sites are level with electric and water hookups. Also many tent sites. My concern with lack of security is that EVERY road sign from Clayton to the park is shot full of bullet holes. We reserved two nights and left after one. I cannot recommend this park and will not return.

For Cove - Clayton Lake State Park: Nice park, clean, small, but a nice view of the lake. Bathrooms/showers always clean. Dinosaur footprints a nice hike. Hot days and cool nights in mid July. Would go back.

For Cove - Clayton Lake State Park: Nice and very remote. The Dinosaur footprints are a must see. Water and Electric available. However no Dump station so plan appropriately. Campsite showers available.
