For Appaloosa - Caballo Lake State Park: Clean, well maintained campground. Gravel sites may not work well for some tent campers but the sites are excellent for others.
Bathrooms and showers were clean and working.
Many sites do not have lake views but the surrounding mountains are beautiful. Short walking path takes you to lake view.
