For Mystic Valley Campground: Stayed here for 10 days Sue was a great host. Not all the bells and whistles but we like a quiet place. 1 hour from Bar Harbor. Small family run campground, stay here if you can.

Donna

For Mystic Valley Campground: Do not stay at this campground! The owner opened in May and has no experience with running a campground. There are mice that get into your RVs and campers, showers do not drain, and the toilets do not flush. The campground is full of people that are there long-term and there is child abuse and domestic violence at those sites. Dogs are supposed to be kept on leashes but most campers and the owners do not secure their dogs. The weekend I was there the owner allowed people to tent where there were not approved sites for a local concert and there was more than 100 people for five bathrooms and two showers. The site is very far from Acadia. There is no WiFi in the campground even though advertised to have it.

For Mystic Valley Campground: New owners and a new facelift to the campground. Quite and relaxing place to stay just 2 miles off the interstate.

For Mystic Valley Campground: Heading up late to see the fall foliage in Acadia many campgrounds were closed for the season. Shady Acres was open and a great price. The campground area was full of trees and lush grass, but it was a bit tired. The bathrooms were in need of a good cleaning and spruce-up. Grateful I was able to stay though and had a hot shower.

For Mystic Valley Campground: We found this campground off I95 a couple miles. About 45 places to park. Great host and if you like the quiet country life at a great price this is the place. We camped with a 32 foot 5th wheel and stayed three days on our way to Canada. Will stay here on our way back.

Cal

For Mystic Valley Campground: I found this campground my accident but am glad I did. Was on a m/c trip to Canada and needed a place to unlimber my pop-up camper.

For $20.00 (did not need water/electricity) I got a spacious, level campsite with table and fire ring. The bathhouse while not the biggest in the world (3 sinks, 1 shower) it was very clean and neat. It also had an adjoining coin-operated laundry room.

I did not notice any extraordinary road traffic even though I was camped about 300 yard off Highway 69.

Will definitely stay here again.

For Mystic Valley Campground: Traffic noise is a problem here. Good otherwise. Can not stay long though because of need of sleep for us.
