For Buena Vista Farms Campground: Very nice CG; family run operation. Nice fishing pond. We stayed one night while traveling through the area. Would stay again.

For Buena Vista Farms Campground: We have been seasonal campers here since the park opened eight years ago. The owners/managers would do anything to accommodate campers. Buena Vista is quiet and peaceful. We spend almost every weekend and two weeks of vacation at B.V. from April 1st to October 31st. It's our home away from home. The area is beautiful and well-maintained. There are acres of trails. They are pet friendly and we bring our four dogs every weekend with us!

For Buena Vista Farms Campground: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buena Vista Farms. Owner was helpful, friendly and attentive. The sites down the hill a little ways were quiet and beautiful. From our site we had a view of the woods and swans floating on the pond. Although we didn’t have kids with us, it seemed the owner had thought of everything kids could want- playground structure, riding toys, fishing docks. We’ll go back for sure.

Signage is still good but the big landmark building up front burned down in 2013. The Office/residence is now in a grain bin making it difficult to recognize. Price $35 for pull-through, 50 amp, water, sewer and free fishing. Wi-Fi is spotty. No cable or trees. No brochure or campground map. No club discounts. No escort to site.
Campground roads are blacktop with some turns too sharp for our 31 ft. motorhome. Bathhouse/laundry centrally located (long walk). Next to that is an unusual spa/exercise/hair/massage building. There are three cabins for rent. Behind them is a second lake with a sand beach, kayaks, canoe, life vests, paddles, fishing decks and swans.
RV Sites: wide spacing, 50-60 feet. Domed gravel which helps to level. Many sites have a concrete pad with table. Voltage and water pressure is good. Dumpster is at the grain bin. Had to clean up 30-40 rifle and pistol brass casings. Electric box had to be sprayed for wasps. Front sites are 250 yards away from the highway. Road noise is high. Sites downhill toward the rear of the park are quieter.
We wanted to try this place and now rule it out for future visits.
