For Army Camp - New River Gorge National River: Stayed here in our 21' travel trailer and really enjoyed this hidden gem. Google/Waze had a little bit of a hard time finding this place, but the directions listed on the NPS website are easy enough to follow. The road into the campground is paved most of the way and narrow, would be tough for big rigs. There was a big group taking up 3 or 4 sites when we arrived and one or two other sites also taken. We took site #1, which was a little bit tough to swing even our short trailer into, but the road is narrow there. Other sites could have handled larger rigs easily. After our first night, everyone else left and we had the place to ourselves for several more nights. Can't beat it for free.
