Roamers from New Mex
For Sleeping Bear Camping: What a jem of a place off the beaten path! The campground is in a secluded, quiet woods 1.5 miles north of highway 6 and about 11miles west from I-95. The campground roads are a little tight but the peace of place more than makes up for it. It doesn't have full hookups (water/electric only)but the nice dump station and complete, private bathrooms are impeccably kept. It is half a mile from water and connects up directly to an extensive atv trail system. The hosts (Keith, Nancy & Ace) were wonderful. We stayed in a class c rv w/ a toad. Also has two beautiful cabins with kitchens at reasonable rates (hosts were happy to let us see them).
