For Colfax Recreation Area RV Park and Campground: Gated at night. Scenic, quiet. Free use of washer and dryer. $16 a night with America the Beautiful pass. Nearby Natchitoches is well worth a visit. Eat at Lasyone’s and order a meat pie. Pecan pie is awesome. Wear bug spray at the campground. Gnats are hard to see and they bite.

For Colfax Recreation Area RV Park and Campground: Excellent U.S. Corps of Engineers park, spacious sites, clean, playground for children, boat launch on site for Red River. Golden Age Passport, or whatever it is called now get half price.
