For Venture River Water Park: This RV Park just opened in 2018 and is very nice. We stopped for a night in January on our way south to warmer weather. We were the only camper in the park. The owner was super nice and gave us a tour of the campground and the water park, which was closed for the winter. Very convenient place to stop on your way south and would be a fun place in the warm months when the water park is open. Walking distance to a couple restaurants and grocery store.
