For Riverside Park: Returned this year for 7 day stay. Bathroom and toilet conditions much improved. Greeted by friendly host who was on-site most of the time. Same general comments as last year. We managed our grey and black water better so we didn’t have to decamp early to dump our tanks.

For Riverside Park: I booked a 9 day stay here due to family nearby and a wedding. It’s not a bad campground but it has a few problems. There is water as well as power at each site. Sites are gravel and somewhat level. Park has bee flooded up to about 3 feet the past two springs but still a nice environment. River swimming, boating, kayaking are all free. Unfortunately there are only two bathrooms/showers that are not well cared for. Since it’s a public park, everyone uses the toilets and messes occur. Because there is no onsite dump we used our onboard toilet a lot and filled up our black tank quicker than planned. Halfway through our stay I had to decamp and drive 30 miles to a dump station. Noise from town is not bad. Closeness to Main Street means you can walk to food or order delivery if you don’t feel like cooking. Dominos delivered to camp site to feed hungry grandchildren. In spite of the negatives it was an ok stay. I’d come again. City needs to do a better job with restrooms/showers.

For Riverside Park: Stopped here for a place to rest for the night. Spot are a bit tight but doable. Could not find a registration kiosk. A city worker was at the park I went over and talked to him. Ot seems all is done now on line He looked and sId the one I backed into was taken but Number 5 was open for the night. I went around and backed into number 5. I was just getting started when another couple drove up and sAid they had that spot reserved. We walked over to what was supposed to be the camp host (no sign hanging) host was not friendly didn't offer to help addressthe situation and closed his door. I told the other couple they could Have the place Id move on and boon dock at Walmart I would not try to stay there again

For Riverside Park: A nice looking park by the Rum River. Park was clean and sites pretty level. However, bathrooms were a mess but it had been raining and may have been due to kids tracking in mud. Would probably stay again but a little over priced compared to other county/ city parks at $25 per night

For Riverside Park: A good short stay. Hard to drive around some of the trees and turns.
