For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): This was our second stay; last year was a short shake down for the new trailer. Not much has changed since last year’s 4 star rating which is the problem. The first site we were assigned had “Reverse Polarity” indication on our surge protector so we moved to adjacent shorter site. The “Dated” nature of the toilet/shower/laundry building and the crumbling asphalt west of it have not been addressed (Gov. Inertia) and the rates have increased almost 40%. Additionally the WiFi Filtered option doesn’t work leaving only the Open WiFi for us because our cell service in the area was so poor. On the plus side; the dump station was painted, the water hose repaired so black tank can be flushed and the staff is still very friendly/helpful. We did visit local POIs this time. To the south, Pacific Beach, Ocean Shores, and Westport were disappointing, still seem to be recovering from COVID. To the north, Lake Quinault, Kalaloch Lodge, 4th Beach, and Ruby Beach were fantastic; they made the trip worth the time and expense. With rumors of additional rate increases, future stays without major electrical/facility renovations make State CG with full hookups or National CG with no hookups an attractive option.

For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): We are here, “off seasonâ€. The campground is adequately maintained. Water puddles during the rain but seems to perc quickly. Restrooms could use a face lift. The gym and hot tub are non-existent. There is ONE pull through. The electrical system needs up grade to 30/50 amp power available. There is one dump on the way out of the campground. Is pet friendly but some owners are not courteous enough to pick their pet’s droppings(poop bags available in the RV campground) Thru the north pedestrian gate, open at 8 AM and locked at dusk, you can reach the beach or you can drive down. The walk back is steep and intense for a very short distance. Moclips is 2 miles to the north, Seabrook about 5 minutes south and Oceans Shores about 25 minutes south. Gorgeous views from the bluff. The price is reasonable, the staff is courteous and will go again. This park is a gem waiting for further improvements and you!

For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): On 2nd shakedown with new RV so no traveling to POIs in the area. Park is well maintained and the layout provided reasonable space for slides, awnings etc. Older asphalt pads fairly level with power & water only; single dump staton has non-potable hose with hard to remove nozzle (could not flush black tank). Restroom/Shower dated but very clean; reasonable alternative to filling B&G tanks. Restaurant/Lounge area casual alternative with very friendly staff. No military exchange or commissary so bring all provisions. Short drive or use gate (NE corner of RV park) to access beach via steep road (10 minute aerobic walk).

For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): Nice laid back place. Lodge, cottages, hotel rooms, rv park, dinner, rentals, other amenities. Great spot for clamming. You can drive right down to the beach Two minutes away. Or drive two minutes to small town. 30A only and water on sites, Single dump station. Really relaxing, no pressure here!

For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): Beautiful quite park on a cliff over the beach. Unlike the description there are no 50 amp sites only 20/30 amp service available. The restroom is frequently out of paper but it was a busy 4th of July. The shower walls are not so clean. The staff are friendly and the cafe has good food.

For Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only): There are NO 50 amp hookups in this park. Also some spots are not RV friendly due to overhanging tree limbs. Grass areas were in serious need of mowing. But otherwise a nice quiet park. We did enjoy our time there.
