For Silver Beach Resort: The spot we had was right on the lake and made for awesome views. Despite the lake level being super low, they still had a swim area roped off for families. Store had bare essentials, but the restaurant also has food should you be in the mood to not cook your own. We had a full hookup site that was a little tight getting a 35’ trailer into due to narrow roads, trees, and cement barricades. Unfortunately after two nights, when I went to dump an d flush my tanks I found out hey had multiple clogs in their septic. This delayed my planned departure by an hour. Definitely looks like the entire campground could use a refresh. If it wasn’t for the location being right on the lake, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. If you enjoy primitive no frills camping, then this place is pretty decent. This place would get an extra star had the septic maintenance issue not been such a hassle.

For Silver Beach Resort: I don’t usually find it necessary to review a campground but I’ll make an exception for this one...
Their web site is extremely misleading.... After making reservations for 3 nites weeks ago, uponI arrival I was directed to site 31..... After driving my 40’ coach down their extremely rough, narrow roads and getting out and actually searching for it, (unmarked) I finally located #31.... Terrible location for a class A - PLUS there was an actual tree stump sticking out of the ground about 5†in the middle of the entrance to the site.... No way to get into the site without driving over the stump...
Walked back up to office and told them there was no way I’d put my coach in that site... I was then told to just drive around and find a site I’d like....
Finally found one semi-level and got backed in and all hooked up...... Upon plugging in (30 amp) I discovered that Leg 1 produced 12 amps and Leg 2 only produced 2 amps...
Of course by now office is closed and everyone’s gone....
Totally unplugged and am now using generator until “quite time†at 10 PM..... Then it’s “snuggle timeâ€!!!!
Will be leaving first thing in the AM.....
To sum it all up - “THIS PLACE IS THE PITS!!!!â€

For Silver Beach Resort: friendly staff. Lots of shade under tall pine trees. campsites are mostly level, gravel and dirt. Good access to lake.
