For Dumplin Valley RV: I found this using the Allstays app, when looking for a place for an overnight stop. It is a very nice, quiet picturesque, campground, with full hookups. The lack of other amenities is no problem for us. I will definitely come here again if I am looking for a stop in this area.

For Dumplin Valley RV: This park is home to a Bluegrass Music Festival in Sept so it is just a huge grassy rolling hill with level spots carved into it for your RV or Motorcoach. Picturesque scenery all around! Not an operating farm! Zero amenities (perfect by us!) owners are super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night here. Would highly suggest this place vs an overcrowded park with amenities.

For Dumplin Valley RV: Beautiful and quiet park/campground. Full hookups and a pull-through site for the night. Will be boondocking next 2 days, so can be fully provision and empty in preparation. Very easy to reach from I-40. Expect that return to I-40 will be equally easy.

For Dumplin Valley RV: This was a great campground. We checked and checked all the campgrounds closer to the Smoky Mountains...all booked. I'm glad they were. As we drove by those campgrounds and saw how much traffic there was, I'm happy we found this one.
Dumplin RV Park & Farm is a beautiful, giant lawn where RVs park all over. They have electric and water at every site (although I imagine they might offer some no-hookup sites as there is empty space). There is sewer hookup at some of the sites. There is a dump station on site as well. There are no bathrooms, laundry facilities, playgrounds or WiFi (I never use those amenities anyway, and you're paying for them whether you use them or not). The price was very reasonable at $35/night for 30 amp and $40/night for 50 amp.
This is someone's farm and home. It is very picturesque, with amazing scenery all around. Plenty of room to maneuver even the biggest of rigs. We had solid AT&T and Verizon cell coverage. I wish there were more parks like this; simple, easy, give you just what you need. There are KOAs if you want the rest.
The Smoky Mountains are about 45 minutes away (but 2 hours in traffic). You're isolated enough to be quiet, but the main highway is a short distance away. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed in our 35' fifth wheel.

For Dumplin Valley RV: A one night stopover next to the I40 passing through. It is/was a farm, nothing much here. Nice large grassed sites, no shade. Full hookup. Close to Sevierville. Price was in the mid $50’s.

For Dumplin Valley RV: Gorgeous pastoral view. Cows mooing. Grassy sites. Accommodating owners. Well maintained. Had mechanical problem and the owner graciously provided hardware and tools. Easy access to I-40 and restaurants. Easy in-out at gas station with tow vehicle. Would definitely come again.
