For Sogerive Halte VR RV Longueuil: Only campground closer to Montreal. Dirt ground that muddy when rains. No restrooms or shower. Close to the road and the river. Convenient Ferry to old port $5.50 runs every hour.
Some friendly stuff and some not so friendly .
Would probably do not stay here again.

For Sogerive Halte VR RV Longueuil: This is the only campground closer to Montreal which is a plus for tgat reason and because the ferry to the old port is just walking distance from the campsite and for 5 Canadian Dollars one way you go to the Old Port of Montreal . Sites along the river are close to each other. When it rains is muddy everywhere so figure if you go into your rig after been out. Some of the staff was not very nice nor helpful at all and found to be on the rude end side. Other non English speaking were very nice and friendly .
Only 30 amps HU no water nor bathrooms . They have a dump site with water but I am not sure if that water is good to drink . I haven’t fill my tank . We never used the Jeep . We went with the ferry in town returning though at 7 pm last ride. Next day we got a 24 hrs day pass . The bus is 3 minutes walk and you travel by bus and metro . Their system is pretty good and worth it to keep the vehicle at the campground . Day pass was $10 US or $12.50 Canadian . Beside the mud and some not so friendly staff the camp is okay if you want to commute to Montreal either by ferry, bus, metro , bike or even car. $40 plus a night .

For Sogerive Halte VR RV Longueuil: Very convenient to Montreal, the ferry leaves the campground on every half hour to Old Port Montreal. There is a LOT of road noise at night and early morning (5:30 am ) since a major freeway is adjacent. No bathroom or showers onsite but water to fill tanks and dump out is here. Electrical service is poor, a lot of voltage loss at the sites so running an A/C may not be possible unless you have a soft start compressor. No WiFi as well. Spaces along the river are very close, an RV next door is within 6 feet of our canopy. You can bike directly from here to Montreal, about 8 easy miles and great bike trails abound. Staying here is a compromise between spartan noisy camping and great access to Montreal. It’s a toss-up.

For Sogerive Halte VR RV Longueuil: So fun to stay close to Montreal and take the water shuttle across to Parc Jean Drapeau and then to the old port. We cycled one day from camp to Lachine canal and took ferry back. Great cycle system.
No showers/laundry. Electric spots on elevated riverside. Good value as a way to visit city.

Susan
For Sogerive Halte VR RV Longueuil: This site seems to be the closest campsite to Montreal. It has limited sites with shade and no laundry site. Water and dump is as you come in, not at your coach/site. Many sites are on the water. Not fancy but is functional for the money and needed location.
