For Reeders Beach Resort: Here in a truck camper March 2-19, 2020 site 52 river front. Paid monthly fee 500$. Staff friendly and helpful. Park is old apparently at one time was a farm and has machine sheds and old equipment laying about. Sites are long but 10 to 15 feet on sides from other rigs. Sites gravel and dirt not particularly level and some pooling when it rains. On a clear day nice view of mountains. Colombia about half a mile wide here and very busy with commercial traffic and motor boats. I could get my kayak in on the property but did not like it as a paddling location just too busy. Wildlife refuge pretty much closed from Oct to Mid April with 10$ fee to park in lot. Park has little traffic. Noise from airplanes, boats, and trains is considerable. Very busy industrialized area ok if you want to visit Portland otherwise go elsewhere. Up island has busy beaches including one clothing optional, if that is your thing. Only one hiking trail 7 miles to a lighthouse. Lots of bicycles on very narrow roads, I think it is popular because the island is flat, unlike the surrounding areas. No WIFI but had decent Verizon reception. In front sites satellite reception good. Restroom showers in old concrete block building but spacious and clean. Nice well keep center area between front and back. Park is closing down for new admissions this weekend due to concern about virus. Not sure when it will return to normal.

For Reeders Beach Resort: We stayed here in our 40' motorhome from 9/23-10/7. We looked in the bathrooms but never used them. The campground is an older one and could use some upgrading but we were told that won't happen due to restrictions. The spots are large and level. Some are in trees and others are on the river front of which the view is accessible by climbing up the rock wall. A beach is accessible at one end of the park. It was fun to see the barges going up/down the Columbia River.

There are several long- term campers at this park. A few of those long term spots could and should be cleaned up. There are many fruit and nut trees in the park but you aren't supposed to pick them as they are for sale at the office.

This is a nice spot that is close to Portland without being in the city. For some, this location would be considered remote as it's 7 miles in after crossing the Sauvie Island bridge. We enjoyed it after being at a state park on the railroad system.

For Reeders Beach Resort: Nice size lots, relatively level. Good amount of shade. While it's on the beach, you can only access it by climbing down a rock wall. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned and maintained better.
