For Sally Buffalo Campground: Mostly "residential" campground... of the 300 sites probably 250+ are occupied on an annual/semi-annual basis. Most of these are annuals that people from the area use as weekend / summer get-aways. Also, a large number are people who are living in the area working on the oil & gas drilling/pipelines/refractories.
There is NO sewer system nor cable TV. The water pressure is good, there are 50 amp sites. There are really no "amenities" at this park as there are at most others.
And to me, the price charged for what you get is quite expensive.... $164 for a week, $600 per month. At $600 a month that equals to $7200 a year... that's WAY more expensive that many of the high-end resorts in Florida, Arizona, Texas, etc that I've been in.
Update to my previous.
It's been brought to my attention that while I was correct about the weekly and monthly rates I was WRONG about the annual/seasonal rate. I can't verify this but my source said that the annual/seasonal rate is $1,000.
That annual/seasonal cost is probably about right for this park... Still, no pool, no campground organized activities, and NO SEWER.
