For Hosss Campground: Stayed one night in a 35ft MH with Towed. Overall a pleasant and quite stay. Campground has 15 or so sites, with a limited number of 50A hookups. Sites are grass/dirt with little gravel. Signage for several of the sites was a bit vague. Reservations can only be made by phone, but no deposit required. Check in for campground is at store at back counter (not front). Felt that price ($65) was a bit high for what was provided, but then again there are not many other options in the area. Would stay again.

Gulliver
For Hosss Campground: Small CG in a beautiful part of the Adirondacks. 15 sites, closely packed, all but a few on the water’s edge under tree canopy. Grassy sites complete with fire pits and nice picnic tables. Full hooks ups. On site fun snack bar/grill with great ice cream. Hoss’s store is something to behold. In the Village of Long Lake there is a general/grocery store and a classic Adirondack Hotel/restaurant. Seaplane rides available at the town dock.
Stayed 3 nights-July 2020.

Waypoint
For Hosss Campground: We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It’s small , gravel but level. Full hookup with cable. On the Lake. Several campers that were there for the summer. About half mile to the town for plane rides, beach, local food and a local grocery. Hoss store has some groceries, lots of books and the usual assortment of souvenirs. Easy drive to Lake Placid, other towns. You turn by the “Park†sign, not the store. Will stay here again. Stayed in 34 MH with Toad.
