For Camp Elmbois: Highly recommend this campground. Very well maintained and friendly owners. Nice pond to walk around in a peaceful setting.

For Camp Elmbois: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Camp Elmbois Campground. The road from the Interstate is newly paved and very nice. It is a good ways from the Interstate, but not an issue. The roads in the campground are gravel and are in good condition. The campground is very small and really only one loop is used for the large RV motorhome. The campground is near Hammondsport, so there is lots to see and do. Do not except much from the local grocery store and it is pricey. The campground office was open and the staff was friendly. There is no store in the campground, but they do have complementary K cups.
All sites have a fire pit and a table. We had site 1, which is a pull thrus. There two small ponds in the campground, but you most likely will not have a few of it from your camp site. The best view of the ponds are from the tent sites, which are directly along the pond. The only sites available for large motorhomes are on the one lane which does not view the pond. The sites are gravel. Our site was not level, so we had to put down blocks under our tires to help. Here is why only 3 stars. TV air antenna only gets a few channels and there is no cable. No laundry machines for us to use.
Our site had a good view of the garage, garbage bins and port-a-let.
No view of any of the ponds. We had a large site, but no sewer hook up. Bottom line is the campground will do when nothing else is available and there is not a lot to choose from in the area. There was a cool looking farm in the corn field just down the road.
