For Route 66 RV Park: These folks are great! New management they said been here a couple of months. They're doing a great job, place is clean. Bathroom is clean, washers & dryers brand new. Site was large enough for our Fifth wheel and then some! Dirt & rock roads, but hard, no problems there. Sites are a little slight on one side due to the campground is on a large hill. TV reception good. Dog walks, need leash, but we do that anyway. Overall a great place to stop & decent price. $35 for 50amp site, that's with their discount & taxes included. We'd definitely stop again. Managers seem like very nice people. We enjoyed our stay here.

For Route 66 RV Park: In my 12 years of RVing this is by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with someone at the RV park. I called ahead to make reservations because I knew we had a long day and late night of traveling ahead due to a deadline we had to meet. I spoke to the manager on the phone and told her we had at least 6 hours of travel time according to Google. It was 5 pm. Usually RV parks leave information on the door for late check in but she said she would have to take us to our site and to call. We arrived after midnight and she rudely. proceeded to lecture me about how rude it was to arrive so late and that I should have called. As any RVer knows, signal is often lacking. The RV park is not that big and having done this once or twice we would have found our spot. We left because it is unacceptable for someone to be so rude to anyone. My recommendation is to drive a little farther and find a nicer RV park with friendly people.

KnJ
For Route 66 RV Park: $35 for FHU. Right off the highway, go left under the highway, left at the first stoplight and then it's on your left about a mile up. You stop at the front and friendly staff guide you to your site (office is in trailer to your left). Gravel/dirt road and sites- might be a problem in rainy season but we were there in dry weather. Sites are pretty level. Laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers and two separate bathroom/showers in a central location. The laundry/bathroom facility is newly built, well lit and clean. We only stayed one weeknight and it was quiet. There are small trees there, but there's no real shade and no stopping the wind when it gets going. You're above the freeway and a valley so the view was nice.

For Route 66 RV Park: DO NOT STAY HERE until they make serious changes. There are no bathrooms, showers, or laundry room. We paid $30 for an electric site. We had already set up when we found out the truth about this dump. Should have read the reviews better. If you need a place for repairs sure go ahead and stay, but I'd rather have no electric and stay with the others at the Walmart two minutes away. I will on my next trip. How anyone can give this place more than one star is beyond me (must be the owner/friends). This place is a small unleveled gravel parking lot that needs new owners.
Reply from Management at 11:57:am 11/24/15: Sorry Skamper did not like our park. Many do. Our website listed the bathrooms were under construction. We offered a full refund with no issues. Mrs Skamper was pushing for a reduced rate. NOT. I am sorry she did not like the park yet they did chose to stay and get a good nights rest. Again we do not cater to people who come to stay then throw a fit at the young hostess trying to get a discount. We feel sorry for her husband for he was so nice and opted to stay. bathrooms are done now.

For Route 66 RV Park: had some repairs needed to my bus and was able to stay in it while Gene from Affordable came to me for the repairs. No issues with the managers they welcomed us knowing we may make a little noise but placed us in a 50 amp site away from everyone else and we got the job done. Great little adventure place for the locals only 27 miles from Tramway and about 60 from home. Thanks Affordable.

For Route 66 RV Park: nice place new gravel big sites. this is the desert so we do not have flowerbeds or landscaping. we conserve water. Just a place to spend a night or a week out of town with good people close to stores yet away from the city. New gravel. we have 2 wifi's that work very well with windows equipment yet are finiky with apple. We welcome all reviews and we are much safer than a walmart parking lot any day. We welcome vintage as well as the prevost families even tiny houses. If prestgige is what matters go stay at walmart. if a nice place to rest on the mountian top over looking miles of valley then come see us.

For Route 66 RV Park: If we weren't so tired from driving we would have stayed at the Walmart down the road. Bare ground with wires hanging out of the dirt. No landscaping. Wifi didn't work. I would call this an expensive pit stop. We stayed at lovely campgrounds across the country that had amenities. This was $30 for the night more than any other campground we stayed at. Very disappointing.
