Our Epic Field Trip
For Lake Junaluska Campground: This is a small campground with good basic amenities and very clean. The sites are on gravel, fairly small, and most have a fair amount of slope. We were able to level, but you have to work at it a bit. It's on a busy road, and the road noise is pretty loud. That said, we would recommend it as a base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Great proximity to many restaurants, hiking, and mountain communities. Asheville, Biltmore, and Smoky Mountain National Park are only 30-40 minutes away. www ourepicfieldtrip com

For Lake Junaluska Campground: We didn’t camp here but needed a dump station after dry camping at WCU for parents weekend. Office staff was very nice and for a $10 dump fee they just had us pull into an available pull-through site near the entrance. Very convenient as it was right on our route home.
