For Spring Valley RV Park: First off. The Google map directions are wrong.
We stayed here for a month plus while working in the area. Great small workers Rv park. 21 sites most full hookups. There’s 2 area top and lower area. Top sites are tight but aren’t bad. Lower sites are wider and more spread out. There is a bath house for those who need it. Less then 15 minutes to Cape Fear Hospital and 20 minutes to Fort Bragg(Liberty). 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants. 5 minutes off I-95 and right off the business route. Owner is very pleasant and always around doing some maintenance. Monthly ($480-$500) and weekly ($280) rates are good. Monthly charged separate electric rate.(which is low). Definitely a good spot for a night or longer stay.

For Spring Valley RV Park: We stopped here overnight on way home from Florida. Ann was great giving us a FHU pull through site and very attentive giving directions and making sure we had everything we needed. The Campground was very clean and well cared for. Some local road noise but 2 miles off I-95. Will stop again.

Rick from Maine
For Spring Valley RV Park: Was headed back home to Maine. It was Sunday afternoon (3/14/21) I was tired of driving and staying at Walmarts and truck stops. I was close to Spring Valley. Called and spoke with Ann. Very friendly, polite and nice. Don’t know what that last guys review was all about. That’s not what I found. Ann found me a site with full hook up. Water, Sewer and 50A. The place was nice and quite. Off a service road that was off route 301. About a half a mile from camping world. About 4 miles to Walmart, grocery store and all the fast food places. Will definitely make this one of my stops when I head south, this fall. Rick from Maine

Ken Sawczyn
For Spring Valley RV Park: Anne, the owner is very, very nice. She was willingly accommodating. Now...the bad news. I reserved at $33/night. When I checked in I was told the new rate was $44/night with a $4 senior citizen discount. When Anne came to my site to collect she informed me there was a $12.75 electric charge. NO WHERE on their site is this mentioned. Nor, did Anne mention an electric charge when I made my reservation, by phone. Very disappointing. Glad I stayed only one night. Also, on a scale of 1 to 10 this park is between 3 and 4!!! Almost level sites, grass, sand and stone (the stone is lacking). I guess, for a night, if you're on your way to or from somewhere, it's OK but I wouldn't stay more then one night.
Response from management:
This is in reply to Mr. Ken Sawczyn. You made a reservation almost a year ago. I shared with you at that time I could not guarantee you a Full Hook-up due to popularity at that time. But, I could guarantee a Water and Electric at that time and you agreed to the Water and Electric. I did manage to upgrade you to a Full Hook-up and you will see that documented on your receipt.
The price for Water and Electric a year ago was 33.00. I did not want to charge you for a Full Hook-up if it was not available. As far as the electric goes that is to cover air condition which is certainly needed in early August and if I remember correctly you came in very early in the afternoon with a 40 foot motorhome. We also had your site clean and ready for you with no waiting.
So, the increase was for your upgrade that I went out of my way to accomplish for you and for that you are welcome. If the rate concerned you that much I certainly could have honored your 30 amp water and electric. As far as electric goes air condition is part of the typed registration form, not something made up and your upgrade let you convert to 50 amp as well. As far as the site goes, I\'m glad that it was almost perfectly level. We are a campground and we do not have asphalt, if that was so important to you then you should have asked about that when you made your reservation a year ago. If you were concerned about anything I would have appreciated an adult conversation about this and maybe I could have cleared up at least some of this for you. We are very proud of our nice clean campground. We truly enjoy the many nice guests that visit us and most definitely our many return guests.
Sincerely,
Ann Bowers
