For Ridge Road - Elephant Butte Lake State Park: We stayed here for Thanksgiving with family. Beautiful, clear skies overlooking EB Lake. Water wasn't high, but high enough. Our campsite was huge! We could have fit 3 cars and still had trailer room. Fire pit and picnic area were very clean. The area had been raked too. The pad wasn't very level. It sloped down towards the road. Had to go to some extremes to get close to level. Hookups were not located in the best position but we made it work. Staff at the checkin seemed a little confused about process. Three people were involved. Next day someone rolled by campsite to say we had canceled - not true. Closest restroom/showers were closed for the season (?) but others were open. A reasonable expectation would have been for staff to tell us when making reservations. All in all a very nice place to stay. Very quiet at this time. We'd come back!
