For Desert Cove - Elephant Butte Lake State Park: Lovely, very quiet park in early December. Site 5 is nearly level and 40’ long with space for our car next to our 40’ motor home. View of the lake, lots of low vegetation, rabbits, squirrels and birds abound. Verizon is decent, just a bit slow at times. We don’t use the public restrooms. Site with W/E is just $14 but reservations are required and Reserve America charges $12 for each reservation, so if you want to stay more than one night, try to reserve it all at once.

For Desert Cove - Elephant Butte Lake State Park: We camp all around the country and this was one of our favorite campsites ever. Only paid $8 for primitive and that still included access to the showers. Would definitely go back again!
