For RiverWest Park: Stopped here for a few nights while traveling across country, it wasn’t quite what we expected.
There are only a handful of RV spots, water and electric only. No dump station, but A guy on site will dump your black tank for a $15 fee (said you can dump grey water onto ground).
The bathroom is a grouping of port-o-johns and the showers are outdoors in a wooden box with no roof.
There is a large soccer park right next door and an event area in the park itself. Nothing going on this week, but I would definitely check the calendar before you come.
I think the outdoor shower is the 2nd big item here that will cause issues. I had no problem using it, but the wife said “not happeningâ€.
The big item here for me was the cost. We paid $45 a night for water, electric, port-o-johns, and an outdoor shower. No thanks! The guy we checked in with was nice and very down-2-earth.
Update to previous review...
The power here is quirky. Occasionally it seems to drop a few volts. The a/c slows down and the TV will kick off, gets worse when you run the microwave.
This morning the camp host dropped off a picnic table and fire pit in front of our site. That’s cool.
