For Atwood Lions Park: Feel like this is a set up/trap. You must go to convenience store to pay. They give you a key to unlock water etc. The parking lot to the store is very small and does not accommodate RVs. Only parking is the street. When returning the key was ticketed for parking in no parking zone. There are no “No Parking” signs on that block or visible coming from the direction of the park. There was someone in our rv and the motor was running - less than a minute to rerun the key. Still got ticket. The park was full of construction crews in the morning when we woke. There were no signs warning of upcoming construction in the park. Made it difficult to get out of the park. Recommend skipping this town and park altogether. The park is small, clean and well maintained and is on a small very lovely lake. It’s a shame the town would rather have $45 parking fine than happy visitors who would benefit their local businesses.

For Atwood Lions Park: Level asphalt lot, FHU, $30, back in sites close to each other. Eyeball the lot before entering if you’re limited on backing up as you cannot drive through, for example a coach + tow car. The park surrounding the lake offers a 1 mile paved trail (which passes an antique shop), outdoor exercise equipment stations, benches, children’s play structure, picnic tables, BB hoops, volleyball court, and the lake. First come first served, pay at the convenience store one block away, get a key to access the power box.

For Atwood Lions Park: We booked in for 3 nights and stayed an extra week! We thoroughly enjoyed it here even with the Covid19. Absolutely wonderful sunsets. Would definitely stay here again as the people are so friendly and the cost was great ay $25.

For Atwood Lions Park: Nice Place for overnight stay when traveling. FULL Hook up with water, sewer, electric 20,30, 50 amp, Water pressure at 80PSI so use a regulator. There are only 9 spaces, 15 Off Air TV with ABC, NBC, CBS, We didnt try satellite but we had clear South unobstructed view and would think you could get around trees ok. Sites were level and long enough. It is just a parking lot but you back up to a pond or lake. Friendly community, lighted sidewalk around lake. Get the key to unlock electricity and pay for site at convenience store down the street and on the left across the highway. We stayed in a 40 foot fifth wheel and pickup stayed hooked up.

Revdsid

For Atwood Lions Park: Very comfortable spot for driving hard across US36. Full hookups for $25 and goes to upkeep a very pretty community park. You walk across the street to a "convenience" store which takes your cash or check and gives you a key to the electric box (as a community service; buy something for their courtesy.) Main part of town is south and you can walk it in 10 minutes. Everyone is friendly and since they won't know your name (Pop. 1200) they'll treat you like a guest.
