For 370 Lakeside Park: This park is open year round and we couldn’t ask for a better staff. All RV sites are full hook ups with 50 amp service and security is everywhere. Park is very nice and easy travel to STL area attractions. Bike/walking trail, large lake, dog park, and more.

For 370 Lakeside Park: This is a pretty nice park. Large sites with plenty of space between rigs. Lots of grass. Zero shade, however. You are close to a lake, which also means mosquitoes! We spent an hour every night trying to kill all that snuck inside no matter how quickly we closed the screen door. Lots of shopping and food close by and close enough to the city to allow for an easy day trip. Would likely stay again if we ever find ourselves back in the area.

For 370 Lakeside Park: Very nice park. We stayed here the weekend after Labor Day and the park was only 2/3 full. The sites aren’t huge but we had no issues getting our 42-foot fifth wheel settled in. The park is very clean and safe and the staff is friendly. There’s only two minor downsides; the internet is terrible and don’t count on much shade. Otherwise, it’s a perfect place to stay.

For 370 Lakeside Park: We were going to stay in downtown St. Louis, but decided in the morning to change locations. So glad we did and super glad we stayed here. The sites are gravel, but not deep gravel so pretty level. The lake is close to all RV spots. The trees are definitely in the growing stages so as someone indicated earlier, don’t expect any shade. I wish this place was closer to home because we would camp here a lot.
We stayed only 1 night but contemplated 1 more, but due to our travel schedule we could not. This will be a favorite stop spot for when in the area again and will stay for multiple nights.

For 370 Lakeside Park: Very nice paved level spots on beautiful lake area. Easy to get to from St Louis and I 70. Nice helpful staff. Need more bathrooms and shower facilities. No shade anywhere so be prepared to be out in full sun at all times. Good for short stay.

The McFarlins
For 370 Lakeside Park: We have camped here twice for two weeks at a time in our 45' fifth wheel and absolutely love it. The RV sites are level and easily long enough to accommodate our RV plus leave room to park our truck in front or behind it. It is incredibly peaceful here and feels very safe. There is someone available 24/7 to check in RVs, and the Rangers patrol frequently. There is a large, well maintained dog park that campers can use, but you have to fill out some information and your vet info so they can verify that you are current on required vaccinations. This can take a day or two, but you can do it in advance via email or fax. There is also a boat launch and archery range that campers can use.
The only slight negative is the WiFi is practically non-existent, but both Sprint and Verizon got 4G mobile service, so it was still easy to work remotely with a hotspot.
There is no cable TV, but if you have a satellite it is easy to connect because the trees in the camping area are short.
We have stayed in both a premium lakefront pull-through and back-in sites. The rates are very reasonable - just $45 per night for a lakefront pull-through, which is the most expensive type of site. The lakefront back-in site was $40/night, and the other sites I believe were $35/night.
There are lots of geese and ducks around the lake, and there is a paved path around the entire park for biking or walking. At sunset the rangers close the main gate to to the public, but campers can still get in/out and use the amenities after sunset.
We highly recommend this park and will definitely stay here again.

InMyView
For 370 Lakeside Park: This is a beautiful county park with flat sites, full hook ups, new trees, new facilities. Virtually no shade, but nice views and a nice walking path along and around a waterway. Very well-maintained.
The Wi-Fi is very slow. We couldn't get it to work consistently for us. It all fairness, they provide detailed info and recommended it for email.
They also provide recommendations for stores, facilities, tourist areas, restaurants and shops in the area.
It is about 30 minutes from downtown, and a great place to stay after visiting the tourist sites.
There was room on the site for our 35 foot motorhome and tow vehicle.
