For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Stayed 4 nights in loop A. Fairly quiet with plenty of trees. No issues getting into our site with a 28ft Class C. There were much larger rigs parked as well. Short walk across the park road and you’re on the beach... not crowded at all. Facilities are nice, plenty of hot water.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Great national park. Good cell phone coverage (Verizon). Washer/Dryers $1.75 each. Nice and clean bathrooms and showers. Ft. Pickens was an added bonus. Nice nature trails.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Loved this Park, beautiful beaches. Sites are tight to get into for large rigs. Campgrounds are nice with water and electric and dump station at entrance.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Fort Pickens itself is amazing. The beaches are gorgeous and the fort area is interesting. There is a nice walking/bike path connecting it to the campsites. The campground itself is fine. The sites are nice, although closer than we would have liked. The bathrooms were clean but stuffy. All of that was so worth it though because of the surrounding area.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: I dinged this Campground one star only because the sites are closer together than most non-independent ones are and they are a bit challenging to get into. We only have a 24 ft trailer and it took some back and forth to get it in our spot - E65. (Which is a great spot btw) and barely enough room to fit our truck parked at an angle. On the positive side - the beach is amazing. One has to pay to get into the national park,so that keeps the crowds down. A lot. White sand. Turquoise water. The bathhouses are good too. One other thing to keep in mind is that many of the sites do not have shade. Ours did, but most don't. The sea breeze kept it very comfortable.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Typical National Park... beautiful seashore, with lots of birds! Campground tight maneuvering for big rigs.

For Fort Pickens - Gulf Islands National Seashore: Fantastic location. Clean. Quiet. Do your homework on sites if you have a big rig like us. Loop A is smaller, more secluded and has nice shade. Some sites have restricted height so check that when you reserve online. We will be back.
