For North Shore Landing: Not sure where the great reviews came from but this place is the worst we’ve stayed at in a decade. We just wanted to stop one night. We were ushered to a site that was a real dump. Barely fits our travel trailer and I’m not sure I can even pull out. There are some reasonable sites that were even open so maybe it’s just horrible management but I advise steering clear.

For North Shore Landing: I'm not sure I can fully explain what a wonderful experience staying at North Shore Landing was for us. We stayed for a full month (April 2018) and already have plans to come back again later this year (and probably in future years, as well).
The grounds are SO well taken care of -- beautiful grass and flowers, regularly mowed and trimmed, nice roads with no potholes, etc. The stocked fishing pond has a dock you can fish from and also a deck overlooking the pond. There are lights that come on at night that make it really nice to go for a walk or do some fishing at dusk.
The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers and the room is very clean. The machines are also reasonably priced.
Our spot had plenty of space for both our travel trailer and our van that we tow it with. We really loved the wooden deck that came with the spot and the little tree that gave us a bit of shade. The dumpsters were within easy walking distance, as was the laundry. (We paid $300/month plus electric, by the way.)
I gave this park 5 stars on all counts but access, simply because the final bit of road to the park is on the narrow side and a little bit rough (which of course is not the park's fault, but people should be aware of). Nothing any rig of any type can't overcome by going a little slower than on a paved road.
And, of course, the park is right on the shore of Lake Fork, which is fabulous. We used the dock regularly to go catfishing out on the lake. It also makes for great wildlife watching and nice sunrises and sunsets.
The best part of this park though is the owners -- they really take pride in their business and want it to be a good experience for everyone who visits. We were checked in with regularly to make sure we had what we need, were learning about the area, and knew about any local businesses, restaurants, or other places we might want to check out in the area. If we didn't have a piece of fishing equipment, we were either helped to know where to get it or even just loaned the equipment for our time there. This attention to our daily experience and that we were enjoying ourselves was so appreciated and so special.

For North Shore Landing: Just back from 3 nights. Park enlarged since last visit and the lake was up. This was a big Bass Fishing Tournement and all RV spots taken. Hosts has a catfish fry on Saturday night, this is a real close knit group. Several good places to eat in Emory. Good AT&T data signal, no Tmobile, but very good wifi coverage. Reservations a good idea. They also added a laundry building.
