For Colorado Dream Ranch RV Park: Colorado Sky High RV Park is exactly what you'd have to be to enjoy your stay at this rv park. I get running an rv park you have to deal with all kinds, but the lack of customer service, and attention to any detail at all with the people "hosting" at this rv park have made me think about where I spend my vacation dollars when ATVing in the Colorado high country. We had reservations for a little less than a week in the rv park, we made them a month or so before our stay, and we were shocked when everyone around us, who were staying longer than a week, were forced to move spots to accommodate someone coming in for a day or two. The pure lack of common sense and the disruption a move like that causes is just out of this world and something I've never seen my 30+ years RVing. No one to answer phones, no one to answer questions when you need them, and the obsession with the $1 backflow part on the hose connection got really old really quick. The only thing anyone at "the park" (which is what everyone kept calling it) was how fast you were driving down the hill to the trading post. The ownership has changed in the last several years, and its showing in a very bad way. Will people stop coming? No - its the only place for texans to park and ride out of... But will the locals stop coming and spending money regularly - the group of 10 or so RVs that we talked to said it would be their last trip to that park - they had to move 9 times in their two weeks. The other thing I can't grasp - when you charge someone $20 to fill up their water tank - I'm cool with that - but you better not let them find out that up the hill at the RV park, people are washing their ATVs daily, and their RVs as often as needed at no additional charge - it made several people REALLY mad!

For Colorado Dream Ranch RV Park: Beautiful area but VERY busy campground and Trading Post.
ATV's and Dirt bikes are in and out from early morning until late night.
There are NO trees/shade in the campground and fire rings are only on the front and back rows and end sites of the 2 middle rows.
Campsites are very close together and it is dusty from all of the ATV traffic.
Restrooms/showers are very clean and are heated.
Its a great place to ride in and out if on ATVs and bikes but don't plan on having any quiet time or going there to watch wildlife.
There is LOTS of dispersed camping in the area and a few nice USFS campgrounds as well that have electric only.
