For Azalea Glen RV Park & Campgrounds: Very quiet, private, relaxing RV park. Large, level sites. Super nice, informative staff. Just a short walk or drive to Sue-meg (Patrick’s Point) State Park. We stayed 2 days, but should have stayed a few more, we had a great time.

For Azalea Glen RV Park & Campgrounds: 5/1-2/2024. Very quaint well-kept park. $80/nt. Full hookups. Flat private spacious site. Separate bath/shower/laundry bldg. Super clean. Great staff, accommodated us changing our arrival and dep dates. Rode our e-bikes 6 mi into Trinidad and enjoyed wine-tasting at Moonstone Crossing. Then rode them into Sue Meg st prk right across road from AG and walked on beach. Drove Avenue of the Giants on our way in. Intended to also drive Newton Drury Pkwy just N of AG but rained us out. This is a place you could stay several days!

For Azalea Glen RV Park & Campgrounds: What an absolutely charming place to stay. I agree with George Geo Pro. Very well kept grounds. Wonderful flowers in abundance. Everything was neat and tidy. We were in one of the sites that backs up to the lily pond. It had a wooden deck and two chairs and a fire ring. Unfortunately the weather became rainy, so we weren’t able to stay outside as long as we would have liked. The spaces are pretty close together but are separated by trellises with vines. We did hear a little road noise but it was not bothersome and did not disturb our sleep. Bathrooms dated but clean. WiFi spotty. Hosts very nice and welcoming . Would definitely stay again.

For Azalea Glen RV Park & Campgrounds: Stayed 7/27/2023 to 7/31/2023 in site 13. Beautiful campground, heavily landscaped and well maintained. Outstanding staff, one of the most welcoming private campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. Pedestal was good, no electrical issues, decent water pressure. Note- system appears to be well water and a bit hard, you may want to use a water softener if you have one. Site 13 is a back-in which accommodated our 21’ GeoPro 20FBS nicely with room to park the truck sideways in front. Site could probably accommodate a 27’-29’ foot rig. Site was gravel, reasonably level with a fire ring and a picnic table. Exposure to the West/Northwest was good for our Starlink. AT&T was showing three bars. Didn’t use campground wi-fi (hey, that’s what Starlink is for!). Bathhouse was exceptionally clean, as was the laundry room ($2.50 a load to wash, $1.50 to dry). Laundry room included an ironing board and iron. There are only around 35 sites- sites 1-7 are near the pond, each with a deck overlooking the pond. Beautiful, but can only accommodate rigs under 29’-30’. Most of the sites had small travel trailers and class B’s. There are some larger sites and pull-throughs for big rigs, but I would be cautious about rigs over 40’. Ok, observations regarding some of the other reviews- yes, there are some long-term residents, but asking around I found that they work for the campground, and all the sites are very neat. And yes, there is some road noise from Highway 101, which is about 150’ from the campground but is very heavily screened by redwood trees and underbrush. 101 is level along this stretch, so no Jake-brakes. In our site it was audible around rush-hour, but not annoying, and by 9 PM it was totally unnoticeable with the exception of an occasional Harley. If you are very sensitive to noise, book a site away from 101- I noticed the sites towards the front of the park were very quiet. Be aware the campground has a strict non-smoking/non-vaping policy that is politely, but firmly enforced. Quiet hours are 9PM to 9 AM. Firewood was available with a nice sized box at $10. Dumpster area was very neat and actually had recycling available. With the excellent access to Sue-Meg state park (practically across the street) and Redwood National/State Park, a great staff and tidy grounds, we will be staying at Azalea Glen in the future.

Only sounds we heard were the frogs
About 1/2 mile from the state park and 5 miles from Trinidad which is a lovely little town

For Azalea Glen RV Park & Campgrounds: Such a beautiful park to stay in. Ivy hedges between sites add an effect of privacy. Some reviewers complained about hearing Hwy 101 but to us it sounded like a breeze in the trees. Super nice attendants and hosts. The pond side sites have a little deck with wooden lounge chairs and a fire pit that make relaxing in the evening so easy.
We will be back!!!
